Ecclesiastes 5:10

10 He who loves money hwill not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.

Luke 12:15

15 And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all icovetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

1 Timothy 6:6–10

6 But tgodliness with ucontentment is great gain, 7 for we brought nothing into the world, and1 we vcannot take anything out of the world. 8 But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. 9 But wthose who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a xsnare, into many senseless and harmful desires that yplunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Hebrews 13:5

5 Keep your life free from zlove of money, and be acontent with what you have, for he has said, b“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
