Ecclesiastes 2:13–14
13 Then I saw that there is more gain in wisdom than in folly, as there is more gain in light than in darkness. 14 tThe wise person has his eyes in his head, but the fool walks in darkness. And yet I perceived that the usame event happens to all of them.
Ecclesiastes 9:3
3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that ethe same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and hmadness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
Ecclesiastes 10:1
1 Dead flies make gthe perfumer’s ointment give off a stench;
so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.

13 The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness,
and the end of his talk is evil madness.
