12 For man wdoes not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and xlike birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are ysnared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.
22 Hyenas1 will cry in its towers,
and ljackals in mthe pleasant palaces;
its time is close at hand
and its days will not be prolonged.
7 lAll the nations shall serve him and mhis son and nhis grandson, ountil the time of his own land comes. pThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.
3 You shall say, Thus says the Lord God: A city that sheds blood in her midst, so that cher time may come, and that makes idols to defile herself!
3 wFor the day is near,
xthe day of the Lord is near;
it will be ya day of clouds,
a time of doom for1 the nations.
