31 For the Lord your God is ^ua merciful God. ^vHe will not leave you or destroy you or forget the covenant with your fathers that he swore to them.

6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, ^d“The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and ^egracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast ^flove and faithfulness,

2 Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me ^zon the top of the mountain.

9 Then the people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a ^ywhole heart they had offered freely to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

31 Nevertheless, ^rin your great mercies ^syou did not make an end of them or forsake them, ^tfor you are a gracious and merciful God.

2 And he prayed to the Lord and said, “O Lord, is not this what I said when I was yet in my country? ^zThat is why I made haste to flee to Tarshish; for I knew that you are a ^agracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and ^arelenting from disaster.
