Moses’ Final Blessing on Israel

1 This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death.

Caleb’s Request and Inheritance

6 Then the people of Judah came to Joshua at Gilgal. And Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know ^lwhat the Lord said to Moses the man of God in Kadesh-barnea concerning you and me.

6 Then the woman came and told her husband, “A ^fman of God came to me, and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome. I did not ask him where he was from, and he did not tell me his name,

8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lord and said, “O Lord, please let the man of God whom you sent come again to us and teach us what we are to do with the child who will be born.”

6 But he said to him, “Behold, there is a ^pman of God in this city, and he is a man who is held in honor; ^qall that he says comes true. So now let us go there. Perhaps he can tell us the way we should go.”
