23 And the Lord1 commissioned Joshua the son of Nun and said, “Be strong and courageous, yfor you shall bring the people of Israel into the land that I swore to give them. I will be zwith you.”
5 eNo man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. fJust as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. gI will not leave you or forsake you.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. nDo not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
17 Just as we tobeyed Moses in all things, so we will obey you. Only may the Lord your God be with you, as he was with Moses!
7 The Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to mexalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, nas I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
27 So the Lord was swith Joshua, and his fame was in all the land.
