A New Prophet like Moses

15 ^q“The Lord your God will raise up for you a ^rprophet like me from among you, from your brothers—^sit is to him you shall listen—

21 And they asked him, “What then? ^mAre you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you ⁿthe Prophet?” And he answered, “No.”

25 They asked him, “Then why are you baptizing, if you are neither the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

22 Moses said, ^r‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.

37 This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ^q‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers.’
