10 You shall give to him freely, and wyour heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because xfor this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.
19 y“When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, zthat the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
O Lord, Be Gracious to Me
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
1 eBlessed is the one who considers the poor!1
fIn the day of trouble the Lord delivers him;
21 Whoever gdespises his neighbor is a sinner,
but hblessed is he who is generous to the poor.
17 cWhoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
9 aWhoever has a bountiful1 eye will be blessed,
for he bshares his bread with the poor.
10 aBring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby bput me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open cthe windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
