40 Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, ^qthat it may go well with you and with your children after you, and ^rthat you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

16 ^g“‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and ^hthat it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, ^qthat it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, ^ras the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.

28 Be careful to obey all these words that I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.
