10 how on ⁱthe day that you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, the Lord said to me, ^j‘Gather the people to me, that I may let them hear my words, ^kso that they may learn to fear ^lme all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children so.’

4 And ^qhe wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments^{1 r}that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire ^son the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.

16 just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb ^gon the day of the assembly, when you said, ^h‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’

17 Then ^qMoses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain.
