29 For I know that after my death ^gyou will surely act corruptly and turn aside from the way that I have commanded you. And ^hin the days to come ⁱevil will befall you, because you will do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, ^jprovoking him to anger through the work of your hands.”

16 And ^zI will declare my judgments against them, for all their evil ^ain forsaking me. ^bThey have made offerings to other gods and ^cworshiped the works of their own hands.

14 ^xFor many nations ^xand great kings shall make slaves even of them, ^yand I will recompense them according to their deeds and the work of their hands.”
