Deuteronomy 28:65; Ezekiel 4:17; Ezekiel 24:23; Ezekiel 33:10; Ezekiel 6:9

65 And vamong these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but wthe Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and xa languishing soul.

17 I will do this that they may lack bread and water, and ylook at one another in dismay, and zrot away because of their punishment.

23 mYour turbans shall be on your heads and your shoes on your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but nyou shall rot away in your iniquities and groan to one another.

Why Will You Die, Israel?

10 And you, fson of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus have you said: Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and gwe rot away because of them. hHow then can we live?

then those of you who escape gwill remember me among the nations where they are carried captive, how hI have been broken over their whoring heart that has departed from me and over their eyes ithat go whoring after their idols. gAnd they will be loathsome in their own sight for the evils that they have committed, for all their abominations.
