8 “When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring the guilt of blood upon your house, if anyone should fall from it.

2 It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking on ^kthe roof of the king’s house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.

16 So the people went out and brought them and made booths for themselves, each ^oon his roof, and in their courts and in the courts of the house of God, and in the square at ^pthe Water Gate and in the square at ^qthe Gate of Ephraim.

17 ^zLet the one who is on ^athe housetop not go down to take what is in his house,

15 ^dLet the one who is on ^ethe housetop not go down, nor enter his house, to take anything out,

31 On that day, ^jlet the one who is on ^kthe housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back.
