Abominable Practices

9 ^h“When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to ⁱfollow the abominable practices of those nations.

3 but he ^swalked in the way of the kings of Israel. He even ^tburned his son as an offering,^{1 u}according to the despicable practices of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

2 And he ^rdid what was evil in the sight of the Lord, ^saccording to the despicable practices of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

3 and he made offerings in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom and ^hburned his sons as an offering,^{1 i}according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

2 And he ^udid what was evil in the sight of the Lord, ^vaccording to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

14 All the officers of the priests and the people likewise were exceedingly unfaithful, ^cfollowing all the abominations of the nations. And they polluted the house of the Lord that he had made holy in Jerusalem.
