10 There shall not be found among you anyone xwho burns his son or his daughter as an offering,1 anyone who ypractices divination or ztells fortunes or interprets omens, or aa sorcerer
8 So in the morning xhis spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the ymagicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.
11 Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the wmagicians of Egypt, also xdid the same by their secret arts.
2 Then the king commanded that dthe magicians, ethe enchanters, the jsorcerers, and kthe Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and lstood before the king.
7 rThe king called loudly to bring in rthe enchanters, the sChaldeans, and tthe astrologers. The king declared1 to the wise men of Babylon, u“Whoever reads this writing, and shows me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck and vshall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”
