5 But you shall seek the place that the Lord your God will ichoose out of all your tribes to jput his name and make his habitation1 there. There you shall go,
16 r‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I schose no city out of all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there. But I tchose David to be over my people Israel.’
4 And he built altars win the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, x“In Jerusalem will I put my name.”
5 v‘Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I wchose no city out of all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel;
6 but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, and I have xchosen David to be over my people Israel.’
9 but if you return to me and keep my commandments and do them, othough your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there I will gather them and bring them to the place that I have pchosen, to make my name dwell there.’
12 Go now to my place that was in Shiloh, jwhere I made my name dwell at first, and see kwhat I did to it because of the evil of my people Israel.
