17 then ^bthe anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and he ^cwill shut up the heavens, so that there will be no rain, and the land will yield no fruit, and ^dyou will perish quickly off the good land that the Lord is giving you.

25 But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when ^pthe heavens were shut up three years and six months, and a great famine came over all the land,

17 I will ^tset my face against you, and ^uyou shall be struck down before your enemies. ^vThose who hate you shall rule over you, and ^wyou shall flee when none pursues you.

25 ^v“The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you ^wshall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
