32 And now ^aI commend you to God and to ^bthe word of his grace, which is able to ^cbuild you up and to give you ^dthe inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

5 For ^uif we have been united with him in ^va death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 We know that ^wour old self^{1 x}was crucified with him in order that ^ythe body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

17 ^lSanctify them¹ in the truth; ^myour word is truth.

16 that according to ^xthe riches of his glory ^yhe may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit ^zin your inner being, 17 ^aso that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being ^brooted and ^cgrounded in love, 18 may have strength to ^dcomprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and ^eheight and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ ^fthat surpasses knowledge, that ^gyou may be filled with all ^hthe fullness of God.

21 but ^atest everything; hold fast what is good. 22 Abstain from every form of evil.

23 Now may ^bthe God of peace himself ^csanctify you completely, and may your ^dwhole ^espirit and soul and body be kept blameless at ^fthe coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

14 For ^jsin ^kwill have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus ^khave crucified the flesh with its ^lpassions and desires.

11 ^ybeing strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for ^zall endurance and patience ^awith joy;

1 Since we have these promises, beloved, ^jlet us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body¹ and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

14 ^sStrive for peace with everyone, and for the ^tholiness ^uwithout which no one will see the Lord.
