52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not ^kpersecute? And they ^lkilled those who ^mannounced beforehand the coming of the ⁿRighteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered,

14 And he said, ‘The God of our fathers appointed you to know his will, to ^gsee the ^hRighteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth;

18 For ^lChrist also suffered¹ once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, ^mthat he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

Christ Our Advocate

1 My little children, ^sI am writing these things to you ^tso that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an ^uadvocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

7 Little children, let no one ^qdeceive you. ^rWhoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.

6 You have ^vcondemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.
