3 ^xFor the time is coming when people will not endure ^ysound¹ teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

3 If anyone ^kteaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the ^lsound¹ words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching ^mthat accords with godliness,

13 ^fFollow the pattern of the ^gsound¹ words that you have heard from me, ^hin the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

13 ^aThis testimony is true. Therefore ^brebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,

2 ^jOlder men are to be sober-minded, dignified, ^kself-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness.
