18 and ^gBenaiah the son of Jehoiada was over¹ the ^hCherethites and the Pelethites, and David’s sons were priests.

18 And ^kall his servants passed by him, and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the six hundred Gittites who had followed him from ^lGath, passed on before the king.

7 And there went out after him Joab’s men and the ^jCherethites and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men. They went out from Jerusalem to pursue Sheba the son of Bichri.

23 ^vNow Joab was in command of all the army of Israel; and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was in command of the Cherethites and the Pelethites;

38 So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, ^band the Cherethites and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David’s mule and brought him to Gihon.

44 and the king has sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the ^bCherethites and the Pelethites. And they had him ride on the king’s mule.

17 and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were the ^pchief officials in the service of the king.

16 therefore thus says the Lord God, ^xBehold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off ^fthe Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast.
