Then the king arose and took his sseat in the gate. And the people were all told, Behold, the king is sitting in the gate. And all the people came before the king.

David Returns to Jerusalem

Now Israel had tfled every man to his own home.


2 Samuel 20:1

The Rebellion of Sheba

Now there happened to be there da worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,

eWe have no portion in David,

and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse;

fevery man to his tents, O Israel!


2 Samuel 20:22

22 Then the woman went to all the people tin her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it out to Joab. So he blew the trumpet, and they dispersed from the city, uevery man to his home. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king.


1 Samuel 4:10

10 So the Philistines fought, dand Israel was defeated, eand they fled, every man to his home. And there was a very great slaughter, for thirty thousand foot soldiers of Israel fell.
