13 And gI will stretch over Jerusalem the hmeasuring line of Samaria, and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
17 And I will make justice the rline,
and righteousness the plumb line;
and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
and waters will overwhelm the shelter.”
11 But the hawk and the porcupine1 shall possess it,
the owl and the raven shall dwell in it.
He shall stretch the tline of confusion2 over it,
and the plumb line of emptiness.
8 The Lord determined to lay in ruins
the wall of the daughter of Zion;
he stretched out the ymeasuring line;
he did not restrain his hand from destroying;
he caused rampart and wall to lament;
they languished together.
