6 ^kIf we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer.

28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together ^hfor good,¹ for ⁱthose who are called according to his purpose.
