11 Therefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and hbound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon.
28 his ebreath is like an overflowing stream
that freaches up to the neck;
to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction,
and to place on the jaws of the peoples a gbridle that leads astray.
4 The nations heard about him;
he was caught in their pit,
and they brought him with hooks
wto the land of Egypt.
9 With hooks they put him in a cage1
and brought him to the king of Babylon;
they brought him into custody,
that his voice should no more be heard
on the mountains of Israel.
4 I will put dhooks in your jaws,
and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales;
and I will draw you up out of the midst of your streams,
with all the fish of your streams
that stick to your scales.
4 And I will turn you about and put nhooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.
2 The Lord God has sworn wby his holiness
that, behold, the days are coming upon you,
when they shall take you away with hooks,
even the last of you with xfishhooks.
