2 Chronicles 32:6; Isaiah 40:2

And he set combat commanders over the people and gathered them together to him in the square at the gate of the city and spoke mencouragingly to them, saying,


aSpeak tenderly to Jerusalem,

and cry to her

that bher warfare1 is ended,

that her iniquity is pardoned,

that she has received from the Lord's hand

double for all her sins.
