15 They gathered their brothers and cconsecrated themselves and went in as the king had commanded, dby the words of the Lord, eto cleanse the house of the Lord.
34 But the priests were too few and could not flay all the burnt offerings, so until other priests had consecrated themselves, wtheir brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was finished—xfor the Levites were more upright in heart than the priests in consecrating themselves.
6 And slaughter the Passover lamb, and pconsecrate yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of the Lord by1 Moses.”
12 and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites. kConsecrate yourselves, you and your brothers, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, lto the place that I have prepared for it.
20 oFor the priests and the Levites had purified themselves together; all of them were clean. pSo they slaughtered the Passover lamb for all the returned exiles, for their fellow priests, and for themselves.
