10 And he defiled ^xTopheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, that no one might ^yburn his son or his daughter as an offering ^zto Molech.¹

3 and he made offerings in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom and ^hburned his sons as an offering,^{1 i}according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.

6 And he ^bburned his sons as an offering in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, and used ^cfortune-telling and omens and ^dsorcery, and dealt with ^emediums and with necromancers. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking him to anger.

31 And they have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, ⁱto burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, ^jwhich I did not command, nor did it come into my mind.

35 They built the high places of Baal in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, ^lto offer up their sons and daughters to Molech, ^mthough I did not command them, nor did it enter into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
