10 He ⁿdelivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him ^owe have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

10 For to this end we toil and strive,¹ because ^rwe have our hope set on the living God, ^swho is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.

17 As for the rich in ^lthis present age, charge them not to be ^mhaughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, ⁿbut on God, ^owho richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
