25 But Hezekiah wdid not make return according to the benefit done to him, for xhis heart was proud. Therefore ywrath came upon him and Judah and Jerusalem.
2 h“Son of man, say to ithe prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord God:
j“Because your heart is proud,
and kyou have said, ‘I am a god,
I sit in the seat of the gods,
in the heart of the seas,’
yet lyou are but a man, and no god,
mthough you make your heart like the heart of a god—
5 by your great wisdom in your trade
you have increased your wealth,
and jyour heart has become proud in your wealth—
17 nYour heart was proud because of oyour beauty;
you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.
I cast you to the ground;
I exposed you before kings,
to feast their eyes on you.
19 You say, ‘See, I1 have struck down Edom,’ and yyour heart has lifted you up in boastfulness. But now stay at home. Why should you provoke trouble so that you fall, you and Judah with you?”
14 ithen your heart be lifted up, and you jforget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,
10 You have indeed zstruck down Edom, aand your heart has lifted you up. Be content with your glory, and stay at home, for why should you provoke trouble so that you fall, you and Judah with you?”
