16 ^tAnd Jehoiada ^umade a covenant between himself and all the people and the king that they should be the Lord’s people.

31 And the king ^jstood in his place and ^kmade a covenant before the Lord, to ^lwalk after the Lord and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes, with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.

3 Therefore let us ^vmake a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord¹ and of those who ^wtremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.
