Jehoiada’s Reforms

16 ^tAnd Jehoiada ^umade a covenant between himself and all the people and the king that they should be the Lord’s people.

10 Now it is in my heart to ^gmake a covenant with the Lord, the God of Israel, in order that his fierce anger may turn away from us.

3 Therefore let us ^vmake a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord¹ and of those who ^wtremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law.
