21 w“You mountains of Gilboa,
let there be no dew or rain upon you,
nor fields of offerings!1
For there the shield of the mighty was defiled,
the shield of Saul, not xanointed with oil.
12 David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of his son Jonathan from the men of Jabesh-gilead, kwho had stolen them from the public square of lBeth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, on the day the Philistines killed Saul on Gilboa.
