24 And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him ⁿwhom the Lord has chosen? There is none like him among all the people.” And all the people shouted, ^o“Long live the king!”

16 And when ^jHushai the Archite, David’s friend, came to Absalom, Hushai said to Absalom, “Long live the king! Long live the king!”

25 For he has gone down this day and has sacrificed oxen, fattened cattle, and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king’s sons, the commanders¹ of the army, and Abiathar the priest. And behold, they are eating and drinking before him, and saying, ⁿ‘Long live King Adonijah!’

34 And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet there anoint him king over Israel. Then ^qblow the trumpet and say, ‘Long live King Solomon!’

39 There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they ^sblew the trumpet, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”
