10 cThen Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head dand kissed him and said, “Has not the Lord anointed you to be prince1 over ehis people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the Lord and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the Lord has anointed you to be prince2 over his heritage.
18 lYet I will leave seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not mkissed him.”
23 that all may honor the Son, just as they phonor the Father. qWhoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
