22 But the word of God came to ^rShemaiah the man of God:

A Man of God Confronts Jeroboam

1 And behold, a ^aman of God came out of Judah by the word of the Lord to Bethel. Jeroboam was standing by the altar to make offerings.

18 And she said to Elijah, “What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to ^uremembrance and to cause the death of my son!”

7 She came and told the ^uman of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on the rest.”
