23 Thus King Solomon ^qexcelled all the kings of the earth in riches and ^rin wisdom.

25 And the Lord made Solomon very great in the sight of all Israel and bestowed on him such royal majesty ^sas had not been on any king before him in Israel.

26 ^qDid not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? Among the many nations ^rthere was no king like him, and he was ^sbeloved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin.

9 So I became great and ^dsurpassed all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained with me.
