The Lord’s Covenant with David

1 ^yNow when David lived in his house, David said to ^zNathan the prophet, “Behold, I dwell in a ^ahouse of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is ^bunder a tent.”

29 Now the acts of King David, from first to last, are written in the Chronicles of ^aSamuel the ^bseer, and in the Chronicles of ^cNathan the prophet, and in the Chronicles of ^dGad the seer,

25 And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, ^maccording to the commandment of David and of ⁿGad the king’s seer and of ^oNathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.
