4 For ⁱeverything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is ^jmade holy by the word of God and prayer.

17 As for the rich in ^lthis present age, charge them not to be ^mhaughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, ⁿbut on God, ^owho richly provides us with everything to enjoy. 18 They are to do good, to be ^prich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, 19 thus ^qstoring up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
