6  ^oThe Lord kills and brings to life;

he brings down to Sheol and ^praises up.

3  O Lord, you have ^kbrought up my soul from Sheol;

you restored me to life from among those who go down to the pit.¹

15  But God will ^gransom my soul from the power of Sheol,

for he will ^hreceive me. Selah

13  For great is your steadfast love toward me;

you have ^fdelivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

14  I shall ^dransom them from the power of Sheol;

^eI shall redeem them from Death.¹

^fO Death, where are your plagues?

O Sheol, where is your sting?

Compassion is hidden from my eyes.
