4 For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

3 And I said to her, “You must ^zdwell as mine for many days. You shall not play the whore, or belong to another man; so will I also be to you.”

9 ^zAnd I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”¹

11 And he said to them, ^k“Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, 12 and ^lif she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
