Widgets

A widget is a small application that sits on your OS X Dashboard. The ESV OS X Dashboard Widget allows you to search the ESV text by passage or keyword from your OS X Dashboard. (Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or above is required)

If you’re using Safari:

1. Click the download link.
2. When the widget download is complete, Click Show Dashboard.
3. Click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar.
4. Click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

If you’re using a browser other than Safari:

1. Click the download link.
2. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder.
3. Click Show Dashboard.
4. Click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar.
