TruGlo Giveaway Recap

On Monday (September 12, 2005) we gave away 100 Bibles to 25 churches in celebration of Crossway’s publication of glow-in-the-dark TruGlo Bibles.

Don’t worry if you missed this contest; we’ll have others in the future. (The ESV Children’s Bible is coming out soon, isn’t it?)

What We Learned

You can see below that most of the winners come from the eastern and southern U.S. We attribute this trend to our 9 AM EDT start time. We’ll try to start future contests later in the day to give a better chance to people farther west.

The Winners

We’d love to hear from the winners about how they distributed the Bibles. We want to share stories about how people are using the ESV.

    ESV Bible Blog giveaway bummer

When I told my son Kevin about the ESV Bible giveaway that was coming on Monday, September 12 he was anxious to have a chance to get a copy of an English Standard Version Bible. I’ve been telling him how much I enjoy the ESV and he’s heard…

  2. Random Drawings for Bibles: Good or Bad? Says:

We conducted our most recent Bible giveaway on a first-come, first-served basis. That approach has the advantage of rewarding people who are quick with a keyboard, but as we learned, it disadvantages people who live in time zones
